Alela Diane – The All-American Psych Folk Singer!

What I loved about music is it has a very wide range of diversity. No matter what types of people you’re, there’s still the possibility where you’ll fall in love with one specific music genre!
Alela Diane is one of the few American singers and songwriter who is classified herself as the psych folk singer. By the way, some of you must be wondered, “What’s Psych folk?” Well, psych folk is the short form of “Psychedelic folk”. It’s a loosely defined music genre originated in the 60s. Actually, psych folk is a fusion of folk music and psychedelic rock. Those music instruments that normally being used by psych folk singers are acoustic guitar and percussion.
Alela Diane was grown up singing with her musician parents. She’s also a one of the finest choir singers in the school choir. She released her first single album, Forest Parade in 2003 and The Pirate’s Gospel in 2004.
After a very long time of waiting, she had finally released the new album, To Be Still in February 2009.
