DJ Tiesto – The God of Trance

September 2nd 2009 16:35
If you want me to list one of the most successful Trance DJs, I would definitely say, “DJ Tiesto”!

Well, let me tell you a little bit about DJ Tiesto’s background. DJ Tiesto is a normal man from a small city, Breda in the Netherlands. When he’s on the vacation in the Majorca city (Note: Majorca is the largest island of Spain and it’s one of the famous tourist destination in Spain), he’s started to become a DJ in a disco at Majorca city. At the moment, he’s only 19 years old!

Soon as he backed to his hometown, the local disco named, “Spock” had been invited him to become the premiere DJ. Then, his journey as a professional DJ is starting…

Did you know that DJ Tiesto with another two famous DJs, Armin Van Buuren and Ferry Corsten are being called as “Three Trance Musketeers” in The Netherlands? Each of them has a different and unique style, that’s why their music is so popular, either in the Netherlands or worldwide!

Check this music clip, “Element of Life” from DJ Tiesto. Feels the beat and rhythm of the music!

Dance with the groove and enjoy the precious moment!

Just came back from the concert in Lviv, Ukraine - it was a total disaster! I bought tickets to the VIP zone, reserved a table, spent a significant amount of money and the result - total horror, got soaking wet and muddy, didn't stay long enough for DJ Tiesto. Me and 4 of my friends were supposed to have a separate entrance, a table close to the stage, protected from the rain, all civil - like all other VIP ticket holders who reserved a table. Reality - no separate entrance had to fight through a crowd of people in the rain, no signs where to go, go through a field of mud and puddles, by the time I got to the entrance to the VIP zone, I was knee deep in water and mud - shoes ruined, clothing ruined, soaking wet. Got to my table - table is not there, no roof, the VIP zone is about 300 - 400 meters away from stage, nobody to ask where to go, nobody knows anything! After 30 minutes, I finally found some girls that worked there to find out where my table was, they told me to wait. I waited for about 25 minutes under the pouring rain, they finally came out with some foot stool for a table moved some foot stools around - everything was soaking wet, I asked them to bring me at least an umbrella, they brought me 4 garbage bags for me and my friends... THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! TIESTO'S REPUTATION IS RUINED IN MY EYES AND I WAS A HUGE FAN! DJ TIESTO SHOULD SELECT HIS PROMOTERS MORE CAREFULLY!!! I am very sorry I didn't get to see him live - I was very excited to see him at this concert and ended up getting robbed of this experience, I'm not even saying anything about the money I spent!!!

@Mike: Oh my god, I'm so, so sorry that you've a bad experience there. It must be pretty hard for you to overcome the nightmare, I supposed...

Well, in this case, you should blame it on the organizer, no DJ Tiesto, Mike. To be honest, I think Tiesto himself didn't even know that it would turn into a chaos like this way as well!

Thanks Wilson, but I got to tell you DJ Tiesto is responsible for this, after all he is the one who chose the promoter. The promoter is the representation of DJ Tiesto and his reputation. I believe it is his responsibility to be aware of his venues and conditions his fans are exposed to. I really was looking forward to this concert and was looking forward to buying his merchandise. I spent hundreds of dollars to get to this show and was unable to stay there long enough to see him. Moreover the VIP zone was like a mile away, I would need a telescope to see him - it was horrible.

WoW, the more you've told me, the more I'm feeling bad for you, Mike.

Hope that DJ Tiesto will learn the lesson and choose his promoters more wisely and carefully next time...

Anyway, good luck and all the best, bro
