Hanne Hukkelberg – The Versatile Norwegian Singer!
June 18th 2009 12:35
Guys, do you know who Hanne Hukkelberg is? Well, she’s a Norwegian singer and songwriter.
Hukkelberg started to sing and playing instruments, when she was 3-year-old. She’s a very versatile singer, where she claimed to cover many types of genres, such as jazz, rock and free jazz and heavy metal too!
She was graduated from the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo with the degree level. After that, she pays full attention on her debut album, Little Things (2004). This album is a little bit different from other, as it mixed with many sounds, such as bicycle spokes, dish brushes, wine glasses and rain into it (Honestly, I found this type of music is very pleasing and refreshing…)
In September 2006, Rykestrasse 68 was released and has been awarded with a Norwegian Grammy in the same year!
By the way, Hukkelberg also one of the honored singers, which had been contributed a song to the soundtrack of the second Chronicles of Narnia film. Prince Caspian. The song’s name is “Lucy”!
I’ll leave you with the music clip from Hanne Hukkelberg, “Do Not As I Do”. Until then, see ya!
