Kate Ryan – The Gorgeous Belgian Dance Singer
August 21st 2009 04:38
Belgium, a small European country that being surrounded by France, Netherlands, Germany and Luxemburg, is famous for its chocolates and beers!
Beside that, it’s also one of the important countries for most of the dance/eurodance singers, instead of Germany, Norway and Sweden!
Kate Ryan, which is formerly known as Katrien Verbeeck was born on July 22, 1980 is Belgian World Music Award winner. She was born to Dutch parents in Tessenderio, Belgium. She’s able to play the piano and guitar while she’s only eight-year-old.
Her first album, “Different” went Gold, when it sold more than 250,000 copies all across the Europe. In 2004, Ryan released her second album named, “Stronger”. The Two dance songs, “Another Day” and “The Rain” did well on the Belgium and the United States’s dance charts.
By the way, Ryan was also one of the participants in the Eurosong ’06, but she failed to advance to the final Top 10.
Well, it’s Kate Ryan latest single, “Babacar” official video. Have a look on it and tell me what did you feel about it…
PS: Did anyone here know the actual meaning of this song? I wished I could understand the lyrics!
Forgive my ignorance, but I couldn’t speak French…
