Kate Voegele – The American Folk-Pop Princess

Guys, have you ever heard about folk-pop before? Oh, you’re wondering, what type of music of this folk-pop would be? Well, folk-pop is a music genre consisting both pop music and folk music. In Balkan music and Middle Eastern Music, folk-pop music refers to a mix of pop, folk and ethnic.
Recently, there are many folk-pop singers appearing in the music arena, especially from the United States. Today, we’re going to have a look on one of the most beautiful and talented young folk-pop singers, Kate Voegele.
Kate Voegele was born Decemeber 8, 1986 in Bay Village, Ohio. She is a very talented young folk-pop writer and composer. She had released her first demo, “The Other Side” in 2003 and her second demo, “Louder Than Words” in 2004.
In 2006, Voegele signed herself with Myspace Records and released her debut album, “Don’t Look Away” in May 2007. Surprisingly, the album was sold more than 250,000 copies!
Well, Kate Voegele is coming back with her latest studio album named, “A Fine Mess”.
According to the report, it sold more than 40,000 copies in its first week released in the U.S.!
