Rhonda Vincent - The Outstanding Bluegrass Singer

First of all, I bet most of you here must be wondering, “Huh, Bluegrass? I never hear this word in my life!” Honestly, I don’t blame you, as I was as shocked as you did, when I heard this word for the very first time!
For your information, bluegrass music is a sub-genre of country music. It has combined many elements, such as Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English traditional music into it. According to the history, bluegrass was inspired by the music of immigrants from the U.K. and Ireland in hundred years ago.
If you want me to state out the different between country and bluegrass music, then the traditional acoustic stringed instruments, such as mandolin, banjo and fiddle are mostly being used in bluegrass music. Hence, you can say that acoustic stringed instruments are the icons of bluegrass!
Rhonda Vincent is the experienced bluegrass singer who has won over seven times in International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) for the best female bluegrass singer. She is expert in playing three music instruments, included Mandolin, guitar and fiddle.
She has a band named, “Rhonda Vincent and the Rage”, however two of the band members, Kenny Ingram and Darrel Webb were leaving the band in the end of the 2008.
By the way, here’s one of my favorite song, “Heartbreak Alibi” from Rhonda Vincent and The Rage. I’m sharing it with you guys here and hope you’ll love it!
