The Complete List of The American Idol All Seasons Finalists!

Hooray, welcome back, guys! In my first post, I promised to list out all the 8 seasons’ finalists. Well, I kept my promise and there we go!
Note: For your information, I listed out the contestants according to their ranking that they being voted out.
Season 1 top three: Kelly Clarkson (Winner), Justin Guarini (Runner-up) and Nikki McKibbin (Second runner-up). The other seven finalists are Tamyra Gray, R.J. Helton, Christina Christian, Ryan Starr, A.J. Gil, Jim Verraros and EJay Day.
My favorite singers for the season 1must definitely are Kelly Clarkson. Also, I’ve a crush on Tamyra Gray’s as well!
Season 2 top three: Ruben Studdard (Winner), Clay Aiken (Runner-up) and Kimberley Locke (Second runner-up). The other 9 finalists are Josh Gracin (Not Josh Groban!lol), Trenyce, Carmen Rasmusen, Kimberley Caldwell, Rickey Smith, Corey Clark, Julia DeMato, Charles Grigsby and Vanessa Olivarez.
My fav singer for season 2 is Clay Aiken!
Season 3 top three: Fantasia Barrino (Winner), Diana DeGarmo (Runner-up) and Jasmine Trias (Second runner-up). The other lucky 9 contestants are LaToya London, George Huff, John Stevens, Jennifer Hudson, Jon Peter Lewis, Camile Velasco, Amy Adams (The rock chick), Matthew Rogers and Leah LaBelle.
My top pick for season 3 are Fantasia Barrino, Diana DeGarmo and Jennifer Hudson!
Season 4 top three: Carrie Underwood (Winner), Bo Bice (Runner-up) and Vonzell Solomon (Second runner-up). Other fantastic contestants are Anthony Fedorov, Scott Savol, Constantine Maroulis, Anwar Robinson, Nadia Turner, Nikko Smith, Jessica Sierra, Mikalah Gordon and Lindsey Cardinale.
Carrie Underwood is the country’s songs newcomer and she’d done a great job with the song, “Jesus take the wheel”.
Season 5 top three: Taylor Hicks (Winner), Katherine McPhee (Runner-up) and Elliot Yamin (Second runner-up). The other great singers included Chris Daughtry, Paris Bennett (Does she has any relationship with Claire Bennett from Heroes?), Kellie Pickler, Ace Young, Bucky Covington, Mandisa, Lisa Tucker, Kevin Covais and Melissa McGhee.
Chris Daughtry, who had been eliminated out from the top three, has proven his ability to the world that he really have what it takes to become a rockstar! Well done, Daughtry. Instead of Daughtry, my favorites for season 5 are Katherine McPhee and Kellie Pickler!
Season 6 top three: Jordin Sparks (Winner), Blake Lewis (Runner-up) and Melinda Doolittle (Second runner-up). The other brilliant 9 contestants are Lakisha Jones, Chris Richardson, Phil Stacey, Sanjaya Malakar, Haley Scarnato, Gina Glocksen, Chris Sligh, Stephanie Edwards and Brandon Rogers.
No doubt that Jordin Sparks deserved the winning title, while Blake Lewis, the funky beatboxer is amongst my favorite as well!
Season 7 top three: David Cook (Winner), David Archuleta (Runner-up) and Syesha Mercado (Second runner-up). Here’s the other 9 remarkable singers: Jason Castro, Brooke White, Carly Smithson, Kristy Lee Cook, Michael Johns, Ramiele Malubay, Chilkezie, Amanda Overmyer and David Hernandez.
The Most controversial thing in this season is it has three contestants that have the same first name, “David”. Two of them were being crowned as the winner and runner-up, while another one is at the bottom of top 12!
Season 8 top three: Adam Lambert, Kris Allen and Danny Gokey (Second runner-up) (This is a random ranking, which means we have to wait one more weeks to know the result). Those other 10 contestants that didn’t make it into top three are Allison Iraheta, Matt Giraud, Anoop Desai, Lil Rounds, Scott MacIntyre, Megan Joy, Michael Sarver, Alexis Grace, Jorge Nunez and Jasmine Murray.
Honestly, beside of the final three, this season 8 have many talented singers, such as Alexis Grace, Anoop Desai, Matt Giraud and last but not least, the rock goddess, Allison Iraheta. I wish them all the best and hope the record companies will sign them as recording artists shortly!
