The Interesting Parts of American Idol Season 8!

Nowadays, there are over hundreds or thousands kind of singing competitions. As long as you got the talent, you’ll be able to show off your ability and singing skill in the contest!
Thanks to the satellite television network, I have the opportunity to watch over many television programmes, especially from other countries. I’ve watched many singing competitions in the past few years. My all time favorite singing competition has to be (Drum please…) American Idol!
I’ve been a very loyal American Idol’s fan, since the very first season, where Kelly Clarkson appeared as the lucky winner of the Season 1 (I’m remembered all the seven seasons of top three contestants and I’ll list it out later on)!
In this new season 8, Kara DioGuardi, the Grammy award-nominated singer-songwriter and record producer have joined Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell (The judge that always got the ‘Boo’ sound, poor Simon) forming the “Fantastic Four” Judges.
This season is a little bit different from the previous seven seasons! Beside of the Final 13 (Well, we do know that 13 are always considered as the unlucky number, due to the Friday the 13th), there’s a new rule added into the contest as well.
The judges have the power to save one contestant who has been voted out from the competition, and they can only use this “Save” card once during the competition! Well, guess what. Matt Giraud was the lucky person that being saved by the “Save card”, and thanks to that, he was able to advance into top 5! By the way, Matt Giraud is the person that always with the black hat on.
Honestly, Allison Iraheta was one my favorite female rocker in this season. I thought she would advance into the top three positions. When I saw her being eliminated, I was quite upset as well. However, I’m pretty sure that this young lady has the powerful and smashing voice, and she will be a rising rock queen in the near future…
